Our trip to the kangaroo farm!

About 10 years ago, Nshei Chabad of Melbourne invited me to come down to visit and speak to the ladies of the community about the Shidduch Group Network (which I founded) and my special “Recipe for Success with Shidduchim.” One evening, I spoke to a large group of women at Spiritgrow. Afterwards, lots of ladies flocked around me, asking for my advice regarding Shidduchim. Sone asked if I’d like to tour around Melbourne to see the sights. But only ONE Special lady actually said to me,” I’d like to take you out tomorrow to see whatever sights you are interested in seeing here. I’ll pick you up at 10 a.m. and bring a picnic lunch with me. Just tell me where you want to go and we’ll head there, ok?” I told her that I just wanted to see some kangaroos, and she told me she knew just the place to go. Sure enough, the next morning, she pulled up to my hostess’s home right on time, and drove out to the country to an idyllic farm destination. There were plenty of kangaroos to see, and even a sheep-shearing demonstration as well. The picnic fare was plentiful and delicious! I will never forget her warm and generous welcome. She was a woman of “maser hu ha ikar, “ ACTION! And she was as good as her word. May her memory be for a blessing.
