Just to share some memories I have about Mendel, I was his classmate until about age 14, and as kids do, we played ball in school at break times, the class was divided in two teams, Mendel was always the captain of one of the teams, he was always a leader, that's who he was, someone TAKING charge, then as kids it meant running the game, later in life it was being responsible and helpful with community affairs, and always in a fair and kind way, with a lot of inner strength, I'm sure you being his family have these qualities that in you as well!!
