Story about r' Mendel Plotkin just heard from David Papof.

About a year ago rabbi Plotkin had a problem with their furnace the pump had to be replaced. When rabbi Plotkin had to pay for a new pump knowing that in less than a year they will be demolishing the house, his only question to David the technician was can someone else get use of it after I move out of the house?! It wasn't about whether or not he can sell it to someone else or if it can be returned. His only concern was that another yid should be able to benefit from it! And that's what happened, a few weeks ago when they were going to demolish the house rabbi Plotkin asked David to come to pick up the pump. A few days before pesach, when Tomchai Shabbos had called David that the walk-in refrigerator with all of the milk in it isn't working because the machine was broken. At that time David took out the pump that rabbi Plotkin had paid for, and he managed to install it and repair the fridge.
