As I recently switched from multiple part time jobs to a full time, I remember telling Rabbi Baras about my first full time job in Kashrus. After asking me a few questions pertaining to the atmosphere, he asked me if I know what my purpose is at the job. When I answered that my purpose at the job is to assure the Kashrus of the restaurant, he corrected me and said as follows: Where ever a Yid may be, one has to remember that they are not there for themselves, rather they are there to make a "Dirah Batachtonim". Rabbi Baras finished the conversation by adding, that As I go about my life, I have to remember that people are always watching, and when they see the way a Chossid acts, it will surely have an impact for the positive, and will inspire them to grow in Avodas Hashem.
