Stories & Memories of Tzion Goldstein

He Focused on the Main thing

Just by seeing him at a first time glance, I was able to tell what a unique and special person he was. He very connected with everyone around him, easygoing, positive, always smiling, despite his TPN nutrition IV backpack and yellowing skin from chemotherapy. He was consistently maintaining his happy ,cheerful disposition, sitting at and participating in all of the 770 farbrengens. I remember that I came to the hospital and everyone was around him, speaking to him, even though he didn’t have enough strength to eat. He was a very caring, good man, if he saw someone that needed something he would help them. For him in life he looked at and constantly chose to focus on the main thing, the Ikar of life, not at the secondary, Tafel distractions that can come up on the wayside and hinder us from achieving our important goals. Tzion had the clarity of mind to focus on what really counts.
