Stories & Memories of Tzion Goldstein

He Was a Tzadik

I spent a lot of time with your father Tzion the last years he was alive. He was mamesh a tzadik He cared about me a lot He was always involved in how my life was up until the end of his own. He was always there for me as a bochur, giving me advice, communication, which helped changed my life. He spoke soul to soul, one Jew to another Jew. I met him in 2009. He helped change my life for the best although he went through so much in his life himself. Even though his body was weak, HE was so strong. I remember dancing with him at a wedding, in between back and forth, in and outs to the hospital. More than half of CH knew him, his warm, beaming smile reflecting his gentle soul stood out to all.

After the hospital, I would come to his house, I saw he was in a horrible state. I don’t know how to explain this incredible experience more, it is beyond words. He was happy until the last moment, there was no sadness on his face, he really cared about everyone else, even when he he was sick. He helped me a lot. He was always there for another yid which is something that you could always learn and apply, whenever you were with him, you would come away learning something new from him. He was a Tzadik, wherever he saw me he took me for a ride, he always had a sense of humor. He cared so much about his family. He definitely went straight to Olam Haba, I am sure of it. He would always be helping ppl, he would accomplish this by constantly bringing joy to someone else and making one feel special ALL the time. Always helping everyone, not himself, day by day. Just by communicating with everyone was saving everyone, even just through learning Torah, or giving a shiur alone. Just by being himself, he was positively impacting and transforming people's lives.
