Tzion Goldstein is an example of courage and righteousness, qualities so desperately needed at this time. Good people need to stand up for the values which G-d gave to this world. Tzion is an inspiration to all. He stood up to the “modern” mores of the medical establishment and used every last minute to spread Torah and the wellsprings of Chassidus to Jews and non-Jews.

It is no coincidence that the yahrzeit of Chaim Avraham Zion ben Baruch falls on Chof Av, the yahrzeit of the Rebbe’s father, Reb Levi Yitzchok, who stood up for Yiddishkeit against his Soviet persecutors in a totally unyielding way.

Chaim Avraham Zion ben Baruch did not bend the knee or bow down to anyone who assaulted Jewish values, and all in his peaceable, gentle way. Those who care deeply about living in a sane society can learn from him.
