I once ran out of matza late on mivtzoim. It was the Friday before pesach vacation and this was the last opportunity for me to give it out. I quickly took a cab back to yeshiva, only to find out that they were out too. They suggested I run across the Street to Rabbi Aronow. Now anyone who knows him he's not the type to jump up and change a schedule and run around like a bochur's schedule. But when I asked him for the matzah, he asked me with a serious face, do you really need it now? And when I said yes he stopped whatever he was doing, and got me a box of matzah, against his nature and late on Friday! I was then quickly able to take the cab back and get it to that Yid on time!
